Why women in post-apocalyptic movies always look great?
The same is true in almost every disaster-film Apocalypse I've never seen. Most men are scruffy looking, they are dressed in old ragged clothes, and their faces are marked by wrinkles, scars, and thatch which has not shaved in a long time. But women, on the other hand, could pass for models. They all have beautiful hair and makeup sometimes visible, as in a post-apocalyptic world you have time to shower and brush your hair before leaving the fight against the zombies or aliens or whatever. This lack of a realistic portrayal of women is one of the main things that bothers me about movies Apocalypse, so why does not the industry Film just get more idea that women should always look beautiful and actually make them look like they are, the desperate survivors who do not have time to lipstick and eye?
Because the script says they are beautiful. After all, it is fantastic. Person unwilling to pay for a movie with unattractive people. (This is a serious answer).
