Did Dave Pelzer Mother is "A child called" Have BPD?

The whole time I read "A child called that, "I could not help but draw correlations between the mother of David Pelzer's (Catherine Christen Pelzer Roerva) and personality BPD. After I had finished reading the book, I began my research to see what Catherine had suffered mental illness. All I managed to find that she was mentally ill and alcoholics. No details have emerged from this type of mental illness she has suffered. Thus with the facts about Catherine from "One child called it" the resources and professional development of BPD, I ask if that Catherine suffered from personality Borderline (BPD).

Dave Pelzer portrays a seemingly normal childhood until her mother's behavior has changed radically. He describes his mother as a witch "wicked" on (pg 30), who put the nail on the head. WOW. Catherine was most certainly filled with rage. Each page of this book, Catherine has been filled with rage that she released Day after day his son. 4. Punish or discourage independence
5. Desires, ignores or denigrates achievements of his children
6. Destroyed, denigrates, or undermines self-esteem

8. Frightens and disturbs children
9. Disciplines inconsistently or punitive measures
10. Feels rejected jealous, spiteful or if the child is loved by someone else
11. Use threats or abandonment (real or abandonment) to punish the child

13. Do not trust her children
