Wedding Makeup Smoky Eyes

What kind of colors of eye shadow should match that I have a smoky eye (Asia)?
I am a Chinese and the point to attend a wedding dinner and I want to be glarmour! Thought to have a look smoky eyes. Of course, the base color is black, but applying the color black itself get me I'm right punch on me, LOL. Any tips or makeup products to recommend.
Eh well first of all, I had a bad experience with all eyes look for "Smokey." I ended up looking like I'm beat! It is very difficult to do! lol, but I suggest using shades of gray, purple and brown when you make a smokey eye rather than black. Purples will really enhance your eye color brown and gray will really soften the appearance of a smoky eye, rather than the harsh effects of black. When you make a smokey eye, make sure you start with a clean cloth. I mean, you need to have flawless skin naturally. If your skin is really discolored or uneven, a smokey eye can make you really mess and dirty. So make sure you have a good foundation Loreal True Match pure as applied with a damp sponge. Next, make sure your eyebrows are perfectly arched and thickened. Eyebrows frame the face, and if they are too thin or too "pull" they will really kill the look glam. Now for the eyes: Certainly all eyes with a primer, or at least some foundation to give your eye shadows and pencils something to respect. For eyeshadow, I like Loreal Paris Eye Quads. Use the lightest color to highlight your browbone, and color the middle of the "crease" (If you do not have a crease to make sure you melt like hell!), and apply the darkest color on the corner external eye. Get a brown / gray eyeliner (Annabelle 6 $) and apply close to the lashline and smudge with a cotton swab. DO NOT apply line under the eyes because they make your eyes appear smaller Asian research. So, eyelash, curler obtain good quality such as Tweezerman Eyelash (10 $) and apply a mascara and curling lenghthening (like Maybelline Sky High Curves Mascara ($ 10)) using vertical lines. Then apply some pale pink gloss (Covergirls 6 $) to lip and a nice tan on the cheek (Physicians Formula Mosaic Bronzer and Blush ($ 18), and you're ready to go! Hope it helps!
