What are the different opportunities for a makeup artist?
Well im 15, and about to be 16, and im getting my GED and what not.
So i was wondering, when the time comes what are the opportunities for makeup artists?
i know you can freelance for a company, or work for a company but how would i go about
working on my own and charging my own prices?
Also are there any good makeup schools in atlants georgia? And how old do you have to be to go to makeup school? i was thinking 18 but im not sure.

Before thinking about how much you should charge people… You should think about investing in a portfolio displaying your make-up talents. After make-up school find local photographers in your area that are willing to trade prints for your make-up work to start a portfolio. You can post the photos on free social-media modeling sites (like modelmayhem.com) and that could be your link for people to view your make-up until you build a website (if you choose to have your own website).
