Special Effects Makeup Prosthetics

Special Makeup Fx prosthestics, etc. Design creature?
I want a career in special effects like makeup (especially horror), prostheses (like a cut arm to a film) and / or also make suits creatures creature / (eg, a suit werewolf a werewolf movie). How difficult is it to enter these careers? Do they pay well? Thank you.
Although you will probably not become rich, they pay well. Special effects makeup, prosthetics and puppets / costumes are very specialized careers. There are many people who would need / want people with these kinds of capabilities, particularly in the Hollywood industry. If you are dedicated and spend a little time to learn these things, we could probably make a successful career out of it, but as with all things arts related, not necessarily a rich career. If you want to enter, then try to find a course makeup theater near you (during normal makeup beauty schools can not concentrate on the special effects / makeup theater, but every day and wedding make-up, which is obviously very different), include a component of many special effects. Prosthetics and creature suits would be more in line with special effects (think of what they Mythbusters to do) and puppets, so try to do a course in either of these. There are also lots of books on subjects from which you can learn at home.
