How do I become a MAC makeup artist?
I live in San Diego and I know I have to take a cosmetology course, but I wanted to know Is there a certain school I need to go to become a certified MAC above all this? Every artist is here? If so could you give me some info.
you usually work in any job as a makeup for a company you need to start working at a desk and learn line … you have to show sales exception, exceptional customer service / care and you're a competent makeup artist. You win reputation … Once you are offered a job traveling makeup other companies you see .. believe me .. you'll get offers from all companies as they watch you work and if you're good. I started working for a company that opened the doors to more companies I could handle. We booked Thursday, Friday and Saturday .. many times girls will double book, even if we say please too .. that means I have not even had time to go to the toilet .. I'm not joking .. because customers are behind your back … day passes quickly but it is a motor rhythm. Then there are the "Horror" events where the book of girls and you have to meet sales targets and you have to go and get people out on the floor. Not fun. There are aspects of employment that are fantastic, but not be fooled .. you have to meet your sales goals and they are high.
