Permanent Makeup Eyeliner Ideas
What’s your take on permanent makeup?
I’m thinking of having permanent eyeline applied to my bottom lids. It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth not having to ever buy the stuff again!
(For those who don’t know, this is a procedure where a tattoo artist will tattoo eyeliner on, thereby making a permanent mark!)
What do you think guys? Good idea, bad idea? Pros and cons? Know anyone who’s done it? I’d love some input from the pros at Y!A! ^_^
Please don’t. I had my eyes and lips done in 2000 and I really regret it. And don’t take my word for it, there are numerous blogs and forums detailing the ultimate anguish women feel after having this done. Sorry to disappoint you. I wouldn’t have enough space to go into what happened to me and how it looks now. For example, many counties in this country have banned the practice. If you are really, really, really sure after doing lots and lots of research, use only a person who is an RN and can show you tons of pictures and testimonials regarding her work over several years. The type and color of ink is very important too. I can’t think of the type or name of the ink that is used but something about the way it oxidizes???? It is also important the color is looked at outside before it’s tried to make sure it’s right. Never, under any circumstances get your lips done. And it you must, I would recommend only the outside corner of your upper lashes in a lighter color. Hope this helps.
