- What types of foundations are available?
Creme Foundations
Creme foundations are usually the first choice of most makeup artists. Available in sticks and agreements, they provide very good coverage of the face. This consistency and texture provide rich and perfect finish that can be applied easily resulting to a beautiful complexion.
Liquid foundations
Offering a simple and complete coverage the face, it gives the face a very natural look. Available in oil and water based formulations, it is preferred by most women because it can be easily applied to the skin and is good, almost like skin itself. For a foundation that perfectly match your complexion, make sure to select one based on the color yellow.
Dual active powder foundation
These are called foundations quick fix, which begins as the cream is applied and spread over the face easily ending in powder form. Having this function, it is a powder and foundation all in one.
2. What is the best foundation for my skin?
Face Foundation for normal skin
In choosing a foundation for normal skin, there are many things to consider, because there are so many lines of cosmetic bases available, and in different tones. Often, their main difference is their price. The label will be your best guide. Read the label and make sure it is for normal to dry skin and it is nonacnegenic so it will not clog pores.
foundation for oily skin or acne
For oily skin, the best basis to use is water based. These usually come in liquid form, and provide a pure and full coverage of the face, with the decrease in duration for a maximum of four hours. This problem can be treated very well by using a loose powder after applying Foundation to help the foundation last longer and absorb excess oils. A product labeled as oil control is excellent for oily skin. Again, choose a product which is nonacnegenic, because it sure to clogged pores and will not aggravate your acne condition. For oily skin type, find labels such as oil or oil without control over a product – in most cases these products are water based.
Face Foundation for dry or sensitive
For dry or sensitive based cream is often recommended, with the benefits hydration. As they provide coverage over the face, they can also stay longer. Keep in mind that before any makeup is applied face, the face should be cleaned with a mild cleansing facial with a moisturizer, which also makes it easy to apply the Foundation that moisturizer will help soften the foundation. For dry skin, a foundation is the best moisturizer, labels such as moisture or are rich moisturizer to look for.
Foundation for combination skin
For combination skin, choose a product labeled as balancing the skin, that would be perfect for this kind of skin type. If you can not find such a product, a combination of liquid foundation and translucent powder form will depart the shine on your T-zone. For combination skin, you need to know if you have more skin on the fat side, or the dry side and select the appropriate form – the foundations that are cream-based powder are recommended for this type of skin.
3. Choose your foundation:
– Know what type of skin you. Before shopping for the shadow of the Foundation Law, you must first determine what the wording is good for your skin is your skin dry? Oily? Or a combination of both?
– Remember to go without any foundation on. Your face should be clean so you can easily test a shadow on your face and see clearly whether it matches your skin tone or not.
