Makeup Los Angeles

Where should I live to be a makeup artist?
If I have to move on to Los Angeles or New York, I prefer THE Currently I live in St. Louis where my family and friends. Is it possible to do still living in St. Louis and travel back to Forth all around the world. Is that Customers paid the travel expenses or do I cover most. I want to makeup for life, I do not want a day job. I think going to school makeup MUD in Burbank, California. Would be the best move and how difficult is it to find work in Los Angeles as a makeup artist.
Hi Ashley Congratulations on deciding to become a makeup artist. There are several things to consider when choosing a makeup school. You'll want to ask if they are accredited and reputable, if you meet their entry requirements, flexibility of schedules, if they have a student lounge or clinic for practical training to, if they have career placement services, etc. It is always wise to talk to some students, current and former school, and walk around to make sure you like the campus. Beauty Schools Directory in www.beautyschoolsdirectory.com can help you the schools in your area. Below is a link to that school groups makeup artists in the state since you are considering some locations. Hope that helps!
