Makeup for the dead?

I am in my first year of college and I want to eventually become a makeup artist for the deceased. Is there an appropriate title for this post? What education do I read? I'm trying to get in touch with a man who has a funeral, but I hoped to obtain information before going to meet him. Apart from what I have already asked, what kind things that I should ask him? I have a list of things written, but I want to make sure I did not miss something good or important. All anyone can give me information is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

There really is no such thing as a cosmetologist mortuary itself, since people who do makeup are morticians (We do the embalming and cosmetics, as well as meet with families make funeral arrangements e). We are trained in mortuary school how to apply cosmetics, there is no program that teaches the individual. The only way to learn is to go to mortuary school to become a mortician. Most funeral homes are not for rent because we trained hard at school how to do this mortuary. This is not like make-up on a living person, types of makeup and application are taught to students studying mortuary license.
